Hummingbird Nest Ranch is an event venue unlike any other in the Los Angeles / Ventura region of Southern California. From the gorgeous mountain views in every direction to the finest details, it will simply take your breath away. It is located less than a half hour from L.A. (depending on traffic of course!) in the Santa Susana Mountains. This extraordinary venue boasts regal Spanish architecture and décor at the Main Villa along with a gorgeous array of outdoor spaces with olive trees, sparkling fountains and stunning canyon & mountain views that is perfect for private events, wedding ceremonies and receptions. It will give your guests that WOW feeling. Hummingbird Nest Ranch is absolutely a one-of-a-kind property worth considering. And you’ve probably seen it before on your favorite LA based TV show or movie as they also use it for filming including NCIS, Bosch, Rebel, The Biggest Loser, Book Club, Charlie's Angels and many more!
They have different venues including The Villa , Grand Prix, Lake Lawn, the Main Barn & our favorite, Sitting Bull. The Villa is the large villa home and you have access the surrounding patios and front drive surrounding the stunning fountain.
Grand Prix is the massive lawn space in the back with views of the home and barn. It is the largest space and perfect for larger corporate events. You can tent it or have dinner under the stars.
The Lake Lawn is the smaller lawn space nestled up along side the lake near the barn. It is a great spot if you want outdoors but want it to feel more
intimate.
The Main Barn is another great spot for an intimate wedding. The space is a converted barn, so you would have long tables down the center. I wouldn’t want to have more than 100 guests in the space although it can fit more.
But the best space in our opinion is Sitting Bull. It offers distinct areas for ceremony, cocktail and reception that feel more unique and special. They also have a lawn attached that you could dine in if you wanted to or if you need to tent due to inclement weather. There are so many options to make this space fit your wedding theme.
A couple other amenities that are included when you rent the venue space are the restrooms with attendants, a wedding party dressing suite & an Overnight 3-bedroom accommodation on property.
There is one additional space called the Q Vineyard. It has catering & rentals included in addition to the restrooms with attendants & a wedding party dressing suite. However, sadly, Q Vineyard does not include overnight stay.
Hummingbird Nest Ranch is one of our only extra late night wedding venues in Southern California.
